Safety Surface – Wroughton Infants, Swindon, Wiltshire – July 2026

A local school near our Swindon-based sales office had areas of worn grass and soil which were becoming a nightmare for safety, maintenance, and keeping children from getting caked in mud. We attended site, measured up and proposed some bonded rubber mulch safety surfacing to encapsulate the existing surface, providing a low-maintenance, safe area for the children to use.

Why Bonded Rubber Mulch Was the Right Fit

  • A porous surface, suitable for use around tree roots, which helps remove trip hazards and safety concerns.
  • A flexible, natural appearance that makes it a perfect solution for uniquely shaped areas and dead spaces.
  • Works well in areas where grass simply will not grow.

The Outcome

The school has been delighted with this small but useful transformation, providing a safer, more usable space for children to play. If you’d like to discuss bonded rubber mulch safety surfacing for your school, email our team at info@rhinoplay.co.uk or call 01803 873711. We’ve installed the same surfacing at Fringford Parish Council and St Andrew’s Pre School – see our full safety surfacing guide for more.
