Playground Inspections & Maintenance
Here at Rhino Play, we want to ensure your commercial playground and playground equipment stays in the best possible condition year after year. Which is why we also offer our playground inspections and maintenance packages to schools, councils and businesses.
We can offer a maintenance package that can run alongside an annual playground inspection that we can arrange, to give you ultimate peace of mind, or we can just offer a standalone maintenance package where you provide your own inpections. This can be on our own equipment and surfacing or another manufacturers.
It’s often good to get our team to visit either before or after an inspection, to carry out maintenance work. Normally these are a fixed price for various maintenenance elements and then additional charges for work outside of this. Please bear in mind that we tend to have around a six week lead time for most on-site work.
Why Is Playground Inspection & Maintenance Important?
Our Rhino Play playground inspection protects both the user and the owner. Technically, you are not breaking the law by not undertaking playground inspections and maintenance. But if an accident occurs then the owner’s legal position is very weak. Therefore, insurance companies often insist on a minimum of yearly inspections carried out by a qualified expert. So it makes sense to ensure that you maintain and inspect your playground regularly.
Rhino Play have trusted third party qualified inspection contractors who are fully trained and fully accredited. So, following their inspection of your play area, they can provide us with the highest-quality reports and recommendations that we then send on to you, this makes the process simple and with less hassle for you. Importantly, these are based on qualified, non-biased, knowledgable and rigourous inspection schedule. Inspections include:
- A thorough inspection to the current European safety standard (BS EN1176).
- A full photographic report with risk assessment.
- Following the inspection, we can also provide a full quotation for any work required and any recommend alterations, based on the inspection report.
