Outstanding Outdoor Classroom At Woodbury Primary, Devon – July 2024

Woodbury Primary, located in picturesque East Devon, recently asked Rhino Play to come up with a design for an outdoor classroom Gazebo that could be used for lessons, PE and lunch time play.

The Brief:

After considering the requirements for the outdoor classroom, the Rhino Play design team came up with the perfect solution for an all year round functional space.

We provided:

• An outdoor classroom made from Scandinavian pressure treated, laminated redwood
• Freestanding desks, fixed seating and a chalkboard
• A Rubber Mulch Safety Surface for the entrance path and classroom flooring
• A wide, wheelchair accessible walkway from the playground to the classroom

The staff and students at Woodbury Primary were so grateful to have this outstanding outdoor classroom to enjoy during the summer term!
