During the wet half term week of February 2025, one of our Rhino Play teams were providing our very valued client ‘Autism Unlimited’, some fantastic new EYFS play equipment for their Portfield School in Christchurch, Dorset.
The equipment, originally designed & installed for a nursery school in Ottery St Mary, Devon, was chosen by the staff at Portfield School due to it’s unique design that incorporated specific play values of core strength, balancing, hand to eye co-ordination, sliding, creative play & climbing for their early years children.
The EYFS equipment was built with galvanised steel feet to eliminate ground rot & strimmer damage.
The safety surface is Rubber Grass Safety Matting, these mats allow a degree of turf protection along with the ability to follow the ground contours & at the same time providing a very cost effective & pre-tested safety surface.
