Creating Fun at Curry Mallet, Somerset – March 2024

The rural parish of Curry Mallet, near Taunton, Somerset, recently reached out to Rhino Play to help provide them with a brand-new interactive multi-play system & trim trail for local and visiting children to enjoy.

The mix of Rhino Play’s Scandinavian laminated Redwood set on galvanised steel post feet & our recycled plastic playground equipment was what drew the parish to Rhino Play’s range of playground equipment.

What Did The Parish Playground Want From Rhino Play?

One of our best sellers, the Woolston Green climbing frame, is a fun and interactive playground apparatus. Which can be enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities and caught the eyes of the parish councillors. The galvanised steel feet prevent ground rot & the pressure-treated Scandinavian laminated Redwood also blends in very well with the rural Somerset surroundings.

The climbing frame was able to meet their requirements of having multiple play systems that children could enjoy and included:

As well as installing secure and long-lasting timber multi-unit climbing frames, towers and slides, the playground design and planning team also installed a bespoke trim trail for the parish playground.

  • Triple Balance Beams
  • Burma Bridge
  • Which were used to extend the existing steel trim trail for a safe and low-level play experience for younger children
