Superb & colourful pre-school play in Willand

One of the major surfacing projects that we installed in the last year is this one in Willand, Devon. We turned a derelict rough hard surface yard into this extremely colourful & multi use outdoor play environment for pre-school aged children.

Colourful & Dynamic Play Areas

We prepared the base with aggregates to eradicate the worst of the undulations & then laid shock pads over the entire area to provide a soft playing surface that also gives the top surface a longer lifespan. The inset trike roadway, blue ‘sea’ areas & green ‘land’ areas of our short pile & very durable artificial grasses all help develop imaginative play in EYFS aged children.

We also supplied & installed the UV shade sail on steel posts, we provided soft padding around the posts too to protect the younger explorers who may have their sights focused on what their friends are doing rather than where they are going! The finished result certainly looks fantastic as I’m sure you’d agree!
