Upper Body Improvements For The Valley Partnership – Summer Work 2020

When Burlescombe Primary School near Tiverton asked us to suggest a piece of equipment to help offer their pupils a chance to improve their upper body strength, we suggested our very beefy Overhead Ladder (Monkey Bars). The beauty of our equipment and surfacing is that it’s designed to fit onto sloping areas and follow the landscape.

Fitting The Equipment To A Sloping Site

In this Valley Partnership School, we supplied and installed this unit together with our rubber grass safety mats. These provide impact attenuation as well as following the contours of the slope, and allow use for more of the year.

Built To Last

Our Overhead Ladders (Monkey Bars) are manufactured using our Scandinavian Redwood that’s factory laminated from 4 sections. The hand bars are made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, so are very rust and wear resistant, plus they never spin around with wear either. This all offers a very strong piece of equipment designed to last for years.

The Benefits Of This Setup For Burlescombe Primary

The Result

The finished installation gave Burlescombe Primary’s pupils a genuinely valuable addition to their playground, filling a gap that balancing and coordination equipment alone couldn’t address.
