Totnes & South Hams Children’s Centre, situated in Totnes, Devon & run by Action For children, successfully managed to source a grant that allowed them to totally clear & surface their outdoor area that had otherwise been unused for so many years previously. The Children’s Centre managed to get the ground works completed by the kind generosity of a local company, this left the safety & all weather surfacing to be supplied & laid by Rhino Play SW.
Steph from the Centre contacted Rhino Play among others for a quote, thankfully Rhino Play were successfully chosen to supply & lay the new safety surfacing.
Around 130m2 of Rubber bound Mulch was laid at around 40mm thick, this allows the children to be able to play outside on a soft, slip resistant & recycled rubber surfacing & created a transformation at Totnes Children’s Centre.
The project was completed in the summer holidays due to access through the neighboring primary school & parking issues.
We are very grateful for these comments from Steph from the Centre afterwards; I just wanted to share the end result! A huge ‘Thank you’ I’m absolutely thrilled with the floor and the men have worked extremely hard over the last couple of days getting it finished!
