Terrific Traversing Wall at Isambard kingdom Brunel Primary, Somerset – July 2024

Isambard kingdom Brunel Primary, a newly built school in Wellington, Somerset, recently invited Rhino Play back to design and install our 3rd project here after being impressed with our previous projects over the last few years.

The Brief:

The primary school wanted to transform their unusable, unattractive and narrow shrub strip into a fun and functional area for the children to enjoy.

Our suggestion:

The Rhino Play design and planning team recommended installing a 5m long x 2m high low-level Traversing Climbing Wall, positioned as close to the building as possible but not joined to it. To ensure the safety of the young children, we boxed in the sides and top to prevent access and used our Rubber Grass Safety Matting to cover the existing soil area and provide additional protection.

The children at Isambard kingdom Brunel Primary loved using the Traversing Climbing Wall in the last few days of term and we’re sure it will be well used when they return in September!
