We’ve just completed a five-star playground equipment installation for the amazing, five-star-rated Trelay Holiday Park, near Looe in Cornwall. This beautifully laid-out site needed a brand-new play area that catered for most age ranges, with robust equipment that would stand the test of time and befit the park’s five-star status – which is exactly why the team here at Rhino Play SW was chosen for the project.
To give younger and older children plenty to enjoy, we installed a wide range of moving and dynamic equipment. Twin bay swings and a birds’ nest swing – all mounted on galvanised steel feet – sit alongside a classic see-saw, a tractor springer and further springers for the little ones. One of the swings even features a CNC-engraved design of the park, a lovely bespoke touch. For quieter moments, we added a coloured, roofed covered table with a built-in games top, perfect for a shady sit-down between adventures.
Threaded across the green is a low-level trim trail, again on steel feet to prevent ground rot and strimmer damage. Children can balance their way along the vine walk with its button steps and take on the tyre crossing, building confidence and coordination as they go. Every piece was specified for durability, so Trelay’s guests can enjoy the play area for many seasons to come.

Trelay required a set of swings for all users, complete with a seat for every user, 1x birds nest that also suitable for those with less ability, 1x cradle for babies & 1x flat seat for all. These are set on galvanised steel ground feet that eliminates ground rot & strimmer damage. We also added their very own sign in a CNC engraved & coloured treated timber.

Where required we used Rubber Grass Mats safety surface, allowing the equipment to conform properly, but also a cost effective, pre tested safety surface with minimal maintenance.
All completed in readiness for the Spring of 2025, by the Rhino Play team & Trelay Holiday Park.
