Attending the opening of Seaton Primary’s brand new superb EYFS Area was a real pleasure! To see the children’s (& adults!) faces was so satisfying after designing & quoting for the project. We were asked to completely re-develop the 134m2 area using coloured wet pour rubber to designate a trike track & help to improve the children’s awareness of road safety too. In the centre we added a ‘Tunnel Hill’ that the children love to crawl up & down on, helping to develop their co-ordination & crawling techniques as well as promoting physical play. We also fitted a central tunnel which all children love. As a centre piece we added our own engraved rabbit head design, so as to encourage creative play & perhaps suggesting that it was a rabbit hole that they could explore.
In addition to this we also provided the school with our combined ‘Mud Water Kitchen’. This has gone down an absolute storm with the children & staff. The benefits of mud & water play together from an integral part of EYFS play & so all of this can be incorporated with our Mud Water Kitchen.
