Having recently completed the ‘play opportunities for South Hams DC at Aveton Gifford’, Rhino Play was invited back to Aveton Gifford to install additional new playground equipment for the ever-expanding park. This time the South Hams District Council and local authorities wanted to add a low-maintenance and durable slide to the park.
Whilst our team of playground designers and planners are well known for their vast product ranges of unique and bespoke boats, ships & nautical play units, or our large and colourful climbing frames, towers and slides. We also offer a wide range of industry-standard products, including stainless steel slides.
The local authority had recently had some draining work completed on the park which had left a large mound in the middle of the playground. Rather than have the mound as an eye-sore, or even a potentially dangerous element within the park, the council wanted the mound to be incorporated into the park.
Installing the durable stainless steel slide onto the mound, which not only provides some great fun for the younger children, but toddlers will be able to use the steep-edged slide without falling off. For some playground safety surfacing, rubber matter was installed at the base of the slide to absorb any impact.
