Recycled non-rotting heaven at Hawksfield Artisan Village, Wadebridge, Cornwall – August 2025

Very recently, amid the glorious summer sunshine, we conducted a site inspection to check and photograph our stunning and unique Cornish Coasts play system, which we expertly installed at Hawksfield Artisan Village, near Wadebridge in Cornwall throughout the autumn and winter of 2024/25.

At Hawksfield, the passionate community of independent makers, curators and creators bring together the finest in local: Artisanal food and drink, distinctive shopping experiences, inspiring local art exhibitions, wellness-focused facilities.

This welcoming space emphasises holistic wellbeing, featuring everything from beauty salons and a 24-hour gym to relaxed dining venues and boutique browsing opportunities.

Exceptional Eco-Friendly Playground Design with Lasting Durability

We proudly supplied, delivered and installed our Recycled Plastic playground equipment, which offers remarkable environmental benefits:

• Zero rotting components
• Complete rust resistance
• Fully recyclable materials at end of life
• Outstanding salt water resistance
• Superior vandal-resistant properties – particularly crucial for this coastal region

Our magnificent Cornish Coasts play system includes:

• Three robust play climbing towers with platforms at 1.2m high
• Challenging rope net bridge
• Angled climbing slope with secure grips
• Two exhilarating slides
• Accessible ramp with integrated climbing grips
• Classic fireman’s pole
• Sturdy steps and ladder with stainless slide bars
• Exciting tunnel feature
• Engaging climbing wall

We enhanced the personalisation by CNC-designing our client’s logo onto four roof panels, creating a truly bespoke installation. For safety, we installed wet pour rubber surfacing covering 45m² in total, featuring a sophisticated black base with 25% yellow and blue fleck for visual interest.

As evidenced by our photographs, the results are truly spectacular, providing an exceptionally durable play system that will never deteriorate and will stand for countless years of joyful service to all who use and enjoy it.
