How Did Rhino Play Help?

Rhino Play has recently introduced a wide range of recycled plastic playground equipment, made in the UK from plastic diverted from landfill. Unlike traditional timber playground equipment, our recycled plastic playground equipment has anti-rot properties and is perfectly designed for school locations such as Hazeldown School.

Our brief from the school was to replace and extend their existing outdoor gym and agility area, found to the side of their school field. We provided the school with the following:

• Pull-up/somersault bars
• Hurdles
• Ramp & net climber (in recycled plastic together with steel corded net & resin climbing grips)

This equipment provided the ability and safe space for the students enjoy during playtimes and:

• Develop their core strength
• Improve upper body strength
• Practise their problem-solving abilities and climbing
• Encourage social interaction, creative play & teamwork

Our dedicated team were able to provide the changes needed within this limited space and ensure the new recycled plastic playground equipment will last for many years to come, even with the sea air!
