No rot & all recycled for Exeter Learning Academy Trust – March 2024

Ide Primary School, part of the Exeter Learning Academy Trust, wanted to replace their existing ramp net climber. However, they didn’t want to replace it with a timber structure, since we now offer a recycled plastic range, made in the UK from plastic diverted from landfill. In March of 2024, we used the new equipment to create a wide range of recycled plastic playground equipment for Ide Primary School. Designed to not only provide hours of fun and entertainment for children of all ages and abilities but to also have improved longevity compared to timber products.

The playground design and planning team worked closely with the Exeter Learning Academy Trust and Ide Primary School, to create a bespoke, recycled plastic ramp net climber for the school. Whilst installing the new playground apparatus, the team also installed some playground safety surfacing so children could play on the new equipment to their heart’s content, with better safety underfoot.
