Gittisham Parish play area, East Devon

The Parish of Gittisham approached Rhino Play to design and install a bespoke play castle that would both enhance their recreational space and provide an engaging play experience for local children. The key requirement was to create an elevated castle tower structure with a 2-metre high platform that would take advantage of the stunning East Devon countryside views.

The Project

Our team designed and installed a multi-functional play castle featuring:

• An elevated 2-metre high platform offering panoramic countryside views
• A long slide for exciting descents
• Integrated seating areas for rest and social interaction
• Shade provision for comfort and safety
• Creative play elements to stimulate imagination

The Result

The completed castle tower has become a striking centrepiece in the parish’s recreational space, building upon our previous successful installations in the area. The structure perfectly balances aesthetic appeal with practical play value, providing local children with an exciting and unique play experience whilst complementing the natural beauty of the East Devon landscape.
