Little Stars Nursery in Ellacombe, Torquay, part of LAPSW, asked us at Rhino Play to provide them with our Climb ‘n Slide play system, but adapted to suit the pre school age range that their nursery caters for.
Our Climb N Slide Play System was adjusted to suit site & age range with floors at 900mm high. Stainless fireman’s pole, clatter bridge, 2x play towers with green roofs, angled ramp with grips, climbing wall with grips, stainless ladder bars, slide in green & stainless safety rails. The posts were fitted with galvanised steel feet to eliminate ground rot.
The area was safety surfaced with Wet Pour Rubber in green & beige 50/50 mix @ 30mm thick. Edged along the front edge with a pre formed ramped rubber edging strip.
The project was completed in November 2025 & due to the access to it & the surfacing, the area was useable for much of the winter period. When Stuart visited to take photos in March 2026, the children were loving every minute, with the staff saying what a massive difference it has made to the nursery having this new amazing facility.
