Over the last few years we have been working with the staff & PTA at Sandford School near Crediton in Mid Devon, to provide their primary pupils with some trim trail & climbing equipment for their tarmac playground area.
The school were keen to develop using only our recycled plastic equipment to provide longevity, sustainability & a much longer lasting legacy for the schools fundraising efforts, compared with using timber equipment.
We at Rhino Play developed a linked low level recycled plastic trim trail, together with a higher level Ramp Net Climber complete with Pull Up / Somersault Bars.
As the trail itself is low level, then this could be safely installed on the tarmac playground, however as the Ramp net & Bars are a higher fall height then we also supplied & laid our Wet Pour Rubber safety surfacing around this, encapsulated by our pre formed ramped rubber edging strip.
As you can see the pupils now have a lot more to play with, to provide them with some physically challenging activities, together with team play, creative play & social play.
Approximate project value £10K + vat
