Dartmoor Multi-academy Trust recently contacted Rhino Play to help provide them with a new, environmentally friendly playground to suit their ethos and natural surroundings.
Instantly the team at Rhino Play knew that our recycled plastic playground equipment would be the perfect fit for the school, providing them with long-lasting playground equipment that would blend well with the school’s beautiful moor landscape.
The playground design and planning team worked closely with the Dartmoor school, to create a bespoke, recycled plastic playground that children of all ages and abilities would enjoy.
Whilst installing the new playground apparatus, the team also installed some playground safety surfacing so children could play on the new equipment to their heart’s content, with better safety underfoot.
We provided this relatively new school in Okehampton, set on Dartmoor’s Northern border, a whole new linked trim trail, a ramp net climber & our Hawks Tor Log Climber all in recycled plastics. You can see the very heavy-duty construction of the posts & the linking steel beams. The browns & blacks of the plastic blend in beautifully with their surroundings & provide a very appealing-looking technique & product.
Our recycled plastic playground equipment is made from various plastic components, saving them from being sent to landfill. The recycled plastic playground equipment range comes with various benefits that the school will enjoy, including:
