Rhino Play regularly designs, instals and maintains playgrounds and play areas for parish councils and local authorities. Providing a fun, safe and free area for children, families and young people to enjoy all year round.
Last year we carried out some work within the parish play area at Bittaford, South Devon. We had installed playground equipment previously and were invited back to make adaptations, removals, repairs and general maintenance of the equipment and safety surfaces. Ensuring our playground equipment is properly maintained is a service we offer to ensure all our playground installations continue to be safe to use and will last for many years to come.
While maintaining and checking the current playground equipment, we also installed a bespoke Country Castle climbing frame, towers & slides for younger children and toddlers to enjoy with new rubber mulch surfacing. There was a free area on the sloping field which wasn’t currently being utilised, so we installed a new set of flat seat swings that adults and children can enjoy.
While having the new swing set gives families additional features to enjoy when visiting the park together. Installing the new country castle playground equipment adds a new element to the parish park, allowing toddlers and younger children to enjoy the area as well as helping them develop the following skills:
Since Rhino Play began installing and maintaining the local park, the children of Bittaford and Ivybridge have a safe and fun environment where they can play, make friends and enjoy on the southern slopes of Dartmoor.
