Nestling in a most gorgeous rural spot in the most southerley tip of Cornwall, St Martin village now boosts a fantastic Zip Wire, Double Swing Bay & a more secure entrance to the car park.
We installed the zip wire partly over the grass field & partly over an area where some older equipment once stood, making good use of the existing rubber tiles surface. The 25m length gives a great experience & good speed, as we incorporated the natural Cornish gradient.
The swings sit within the field & provide the opportunity for up-to 4 children (& maybe some adults that still love to play on a swing!) to play, talk & chill whilst enjoying the benefits of the natural green environment too. The swings are safer surfaced with rubber grass mats, although after a while the grass incorporates these but are still as effective.
We also prevented younger children from running into the car park, by creating an area of picket play grade fencing together with a specialist self closing steel playground gate that uses a hydraulic self closer.
All in all yet another superb Rhino Play project that everyone’s happy with.
