Rhino Play were recently contacted by Coverack Primary School, nestled on one of the most southerly and exposed coastal points in mainland Britain. The school community, including staff and parents, were looking to replace an ageing timber climber that had suffered damage from years of exposure to Atlantic winds and salt-laden air. After issues with playground equipment from previous suppliers, they needed something tougher – a solution built to last.
Given the exposed coastal location of Coverack Cove, where sea salt and gale-force winds are part of daily life, our recycled plastic range was the ideal choice for locations like Coverack Cove, offering a natural timber-look aesthetic without compromising on strength or lifespan.
